We want you to love the freedom and flexibility of your new e-Bike or e-Scooter! Follow the tips below to ensure a safe ride.
e-Bike Safety:
- Get comfortable: Just received your bike? Before taking your bike for a long ride, get comfortable with the different features and familiarize yourself with all of the information included with the product manual. Take it for a few test spins to make sure it is comfortable before your first long ride.
- Loading up your bike: Your bike is designed to haul both kids and cargo. Load everything onto the bike with ease, thanks to the kickstand design and storage accesories.
- Getting on and off your bike: Use the convenient step-through frame design to easy get on and off your bike, regardless of how much cargo you have loaded on back. No need to swing your leg over the cargo.
- Be seen: Use your bike's headlight to ensure other riders, drivers and pedestrians can see you regardless of riding condition.
- Don't forget your helmet: Are your little ones along for the ride? Don't forget their helmets, too!
- Check your speed setting: Before each ride, check your speed setting to ensure it is set to where you want it to be. From there, you can adjust as needed while riding.
- Getting moving: Take advantage of your bike's throttle to get your bike going, especially when carrying a heavy load of kids or cargo. From there, you can take over pedaling with the pedal-assist.
- Use your brakes: With more speed and weight on your bike, don't forget to brake when needed. Braking will cut the motor and allow you to slow down or come to a stop.
- Pay close attention to your surroundings: Whether on a road or a bike path, be aware of cars, bikers and pedestrians around you.
- Follow all local laws: Research the e-Bike laws and regulations in your area, to ensure you are complying with all laws and regulations for your safety and the safety of others.
