TIPS & TRICKS
-
A second set of hands can make this assembly much easier - we recommend two people for assembly when possible.
- Step 10: The front legs, when fully assembled, will sit flush with the horse's body. If the horse leg is not fitting, try readjusting. You'll want to be sure the leg fits snugly into the horse's body, and the legs may be twisted slightly to allow for more room on the body tube.
- Step 13 (a): For the best fit, it is recommended that the leg tube cap be assembled on the strap first and then assembled to the frame.
- Step 13 (c): To avoid alignment concerns, assemble one side of the hardware enough to hold the hardware in place and repeat the same steps on the other side. Once each side has the hardware assembled in place go back and retighten.
- Step 15: The rear legs when fully assembled will sit flush with the horse's body. If the horse leg is not fitting, try readjusting. You'll want to be sure the leg fits snugly into the horse's body, and the legs may be twisted slightly to allow for more room on the body tube.
- Steps 16-18: It is recommended that a second set of hands hold the legs flush with the horse's body while the other person assembles the spacer, hardware, and straps. For alignment issues, please refer to Step 3.
- Step 19: Using the provided tool and a second set of hands, push the horse's body toward the side you are assembling the springs on first. The extra set of hands and provided tool will help to create more play to successfully attach the spring to the main frame.
- Step 21: It is recommended that the longer screw, labeled number one be loosely assembled to avoid an alignment issue (see photo). Once all screws have been inserted go back and fully tighten the hardware. Note it may help to have someone holding the head in place while the first screw is being inserted.
