#852 Flyer™ Cruiser Step-Thru 2.0 Battery Dock Replacement

Follow the steps below to replace the battery dock on your #852 Flyer™ Cruiser Step-Thru 2.0.

     Tools Needed: 4mm allen wrench

     Compatible Models: #852 Flyer™ Cruiser Step-Thru 2.0

Getting the Bike Ready for Servicing

  1. Remove the seat.

  2. Remove the battery.

  3. Press and hold the power button the display to discharge any remaining power in the bike.

Removing the Old Battery Dock

  1. Flip the bike upside down.

  2. Remove the 2 bolts securing the PCM to the frame using a 3mm allen wrench.

  3. Remove the 2 bolts securing the PCM to the frame using a 3mm allen wrench.

  4. Disconnect the battery dock from the PCM.

  5. Set the bike upright.

  6. Remove the 3 bolts securing the battery dock to the seat tube
  7. Pull the battery dock free.

Installing the New Battery Dock

  1. Align the 3 slots in the center of the battery dock with the 3 holes on the frame.
  2. Insert the cable into opening behind the seat tube.

  3. Secure the battery dock in place with 3 bolts using a Phillips head screwdriver.

  4. Flip the bike back upside down.

  5. Secure the bottom of the battery dock to the frame.

Reinstalling the PCM

  1. Plug the new battery dock into the PCM. Be sure to align the arrows before connecting.

  2. Secure the PCM back to the frame with 2 bolts.

Preparing to Ride

  1. Reinstall the battery.

  2. Reinstall the seat. Secure by firmly clamping in place.

  3. Test bike fully before riding.
