Tools Needed:18mm crescent wrench or adjustable wrench

Removing the Front Wheel
- Prop the bike on its kickstand.
- Using an 18mm crescent wrench or adjustable wrench. Remove the cap nut from the brake side of front axle. Once the nut is removed, pull the anti-rotation washer free.
- Using an 18mm crescent wrench or adjustable wrench. Remove the cap nut from the drive side of front axle. Once the nut is removed, pull the anti-rotation washer free.
- Lift the front end of the bike by the handlebar and carefully remove the wheel from the fork.
Installing the Front Wheel
- Be sure there’s a washer on either side of the axle, pushed against the wheel's hub.
- Reinstall the wheel. Ensure the wheel is centered on the fork, and the brake rotor is centered in the caliper assembly. ⚠️ Note: the washers should be in between the fork and the hub of the wheel.
- Install anti-rotation washers on both sides of the front axle. Be sure to fit the tab on the washer into the slot on the fork. Then thread the cap nuts onto the axle by hand.
- Use one hand to push down on the fork and the other to tighten the cap nut with a wrench.
- Then press down on the other side of the fork and tighten the cap nut with a wrench
