Removing Lock on Grips

Follow the steps below to replace the brake lever on your eBike.

     Tools Needed: 4mm Allen wrench, 3mm Allen wrench
   

     Compatible Models: Flyer™ Folding Cargo, Flyer™ Cruisers, Flyer™ Flex and Flyer™ Via Models

 

Removing Grips

  1. Start by using the allen wrenches to loosen the two bolts at each end of the grip.

  2. Pull the handlebar end cap off and slide the grip off. Only remove the throttle if you need to adjust the handlebar components on that side.

  3. You will install the grips following the same steps backwards, starting with sliding the grip on, plugging the handlebar end cap and oirenting the grip to the ideal position for you.10 - Reposition Handgrip.gif
  4. Then tighten the Allen bolts to secure it to the handlebar.11 - Secure Handgrip.gif
    If you are finding that the handlebar end cap isn't staying in the handlebar, adjust the handlebar components (brake lever, display, throttle, shifter) towards the center of the handlebars to ensure there's enough space for the handlebars to be snug.
